Important Update

Hello all ISC Friends and Family,

It is with a heavy heart that we (Cody, Chris, and the ISC staff) are writing this correspondence. Effective May 28th, ISC will be temporarily (and possibly permanently) suspending all leagues and programs.

With the support of our amazing patrons, we had an incredibly successful year. It has been one of the best in the last 10 years, even with the challenges created by Covid. Unfortunately, our sister facility in Oregon did not fare as well. Due to Oregon state regulations, the Oregon Soccer Center was closed since the origin of the pandemic and has not had the chance to resume activities to the fullest extent. This closure has placed a strain on ownership that ultimately led to the tough decision to put both centers up for sale.

Due to the expansive growth here in the area, an offer has already been made on the ISC building and a sale is currently pending. At this point, nothing has been finalized, but it does look as though the sale is imminent. Ownership has not made ISC staff (including myself – Cody) aware of the plans of the potential buyer.

However, the ISC owner is still retaining the rights to the boards and turf at this time. If the sale of ISC does proceed, we (Cody and staff) may look for other potential indoor sites in the treasure valley. We are actively looking for land, buildings, and leasing options. We are also looking for storage options for the turf and boards. If anyone has any potential leads or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email! iscindoor@live.com.

Kids Kickers:
There is potential for us to run a Summer and/or Fall session of our Kids Kickers league outside in some capacity. We believe the Kids Kickers program provides an incredible environment for our youth in the community to learn the game of soccer and develop physically, mentally, and emotionally. We will do all we can to keep the program active. As it stands, we are in the final phases of securing a field/fields to run an outdoor session mid-August through early-October. Please continue to check our website, email messages, and follow along with our social media for more information.

Should the sale fall through, we will be open and honest with all of our patrons and hope to get leagues and programs up and running again as ownership permits.

We understand that this announcement will cause a wide range of emotions, we have felt them as well. Selling the facility was never the plan pre-covid and it is important for us to share that this decision was the last option for ownership who informed us with heavy regret as well.

Again, we would like to thank all of you for your patronage and will hopefully still be able to run our kids’ program again in some capacity later this year!

It was truly our joy and privilege to provide the opportunity for the adults and kids in our community to play this wonderful sport.  We have made incredible friendships and cannot thank you enough.

Sincerely,

Cody St. John - Manager
Chris Hall - Manager
and the rest of the ISC Staff

Idaho Soccer Center

The Idaho Soccer Center is a tool for the community to help everyone of all ages and skill level to perform better, play better, and feel better by playing the sport of soccer.

The Idaho Soccer Center experience is more than just providing leagues and selling shoes/apparel just as playing soccer is more than just kicking a ball. Everything we do is bound by one simple thought: We strive to help you perform at your best and have fun doing it. Your success is our ambition.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES REMIND US OF WHAT IS IMPORTANT:

1) Action and Excitement
Indoor soccer features constant, end-to-end action, very few breaks in play, and frequent opportunities, making it one of the most entertaining games for players and spectators.

2) Health and Fitness
The consistent activity of indoor soccer helps to develop physical fitness in several categories: Speed, power, coordination, and endurance.

3) Meeting new people/Camaraderie
Idaho Soccer Center is a great meeting place. Both players and spectators can use the game to socialize and meet other excited soccer players through our leagues/programs.

4) Inclusiveness
The nature of indoor soccer allows participants of a wide range of size, physical strength, speed, and endurance to excel at the sport.

5) Safety and Cleanliness
Indoor soccer involves mild physical contact. Excessive contact is penalized within the rules. Cleats are also not allowed to promote safety and cleanliness of the field.
